If you’ve gotten to this secret page – yay for you. This is the page for my half-written, non-committal, romance novel. It’s kind of like a choose your own adventure book. Lots of ways to end the story. I talk to a lot of people in my head (literally all day every day). I don’t know if the voices are real or not. But many of the men are romantic entanglements, even though I’m not sure how I feel about all of that. I’m usually overwhelmed by any kind of casual flirting, well, except on X.com. That seems to be the exception.
Ultimately, my kids will help me choose someone, if I ever choose someone new at all (or if any options really are ever on the plate). But a lot of this really is me just making stuff up. Consider it fiction, influenced by real events and people in my life.
For a REAL ending I’m leaning towards an ending where I end up with some great friends as a Sufi or Buddhist monk in Oklahoma to keep the equilibrium. Maybe I’ll even stay married but separated for the heck of it. Maybe I enjoy arguing more than I think. But I don’t think so. I think I want an uncomplicated life where I create skyway and tunnel scavenger hunts for the kids coming out of the hospital network (think OU Med to SSM Health and beyond).
